Salad buffets and foster children Classes 5a and 3a
5a decides to adopt, so to speak, one of our Jharkot children: they will regularly raise the 50€ needed every month for a child. Two very tasty salad buffets organised and run by the class at lunchtime secure the first year's patronage! Assigned foster child: Tsering Pemba.
Class 3a is now also fostering a child: Lhamo Tsering

Debating with a tangible outcome:
During a "motivational speech" exercise in German class, Constantin Collini, sets out why our partner school project should be supported.
And his speech works: 3i and then 3e, make a donation of 55 Euros from their snack money - that's absolutely everything a child in Jharkot needs for a month. Thank you!

- Donations / Sponsoring

2012

In 2012 there were more individual money transfers from former students of the Musisches Gymnasium, from parents, teachers and friends of the project.; the contributions were sums of between 15 and 1000 Euros!

Those with standing orders also remained faithful to us. Thank you!

Classes 8a, 8i and 8m donated the remainder of their class coffers, totalling 380€.

2011

Individual donations from former pupils of the Musisches Gymnasium, parents, teachers and friends of the project ranged from 20 to 500 Euros, making an enormous contribution to the maintenance of the partner school.

Standing orders and "gift donations" helped a great deal this year too.

Gospelspirit is a choir in Freilassing. Janika and Viola Linke, Ida and Sophie Schönamsgruber, Carolina Bernauer and Sarah Back from the Musisches Gymnasium are members of this choir. Under the direction of Anja Hager, the choir donated the profits of their pre-Christmas concert in Bad Reichenhall: 1200 Euros!

Roundtable Austria 30 Salzburg supported the project with 500€, a sum doubled by their honorary member Martin Seibt.

2010

A number of individual from the school set up monthly standing orders for between 10 and 50 Euros.

Other helpful people request gifts for birthdays and Christmas in the form of donations for Jharkot - raising 730€.

At the 50th (?) class reunion of Karin Inmann's own school year, 465€ was raised for the project.

A range of people from around the school made individual donations of between 7€ and 200€.

2009
-

The Rotary Club Salzburg St. Rupert takes on the wages for a teacher and the cook for one year.

A number of individuals from the school environment make contributions between 5 and 200 Euros.

Sponsors raise the entire cost for hiring the hall at the republic, so that the entire revenue raised from the concert with Hubert von Goisern can flow into the project - see the concert report >>
